Mangaluru: An unknown person sent a link believing to be from a courier company and collected Rs 72,444. A complaint has been registered in the SEN station of Mangalore regarding fraud by transfer from the bank account.
When the complainant was searching for information about a courier company on Google for a parcel, he found a mobile number 9827698553. When he called that number, he sent a link saying that he worked in a courier company. Told to send Rs 5 on Google Pay later. Although the complainant paid the money, no one came to buy the parcel from him. On April 15 a personal loan sanctioned message was received in the complainant's bank account. Rs.72,444 when he checked the account. It was noticed that there was a cut. It has been stated in the complaint that the person who introduced himself as a courier company had given the bank details to the link sent and transferred the money fraudulently.
