Mangaluru: Department of Hindi of University Evening College, Mangaluru organized “Hindi Diwas” on Wednesday, 14th September 2022 at Shivaram Karanth Hall.
Chief Guest Dr. Parashuram Ganapathi Malge – Head of the department of Hindi, Besant Women’s College, Mangaluru Inaugurated the event. He spoke about the importance of Hindi Diwas and how one can implement Hindi in our daily lives and in employment field. One should respect and love Hindi language. Studying many languages helps in personality development. If we study only one language we will be just like a frog in the well, instead learning many languages we can be a frog of the Vast Sea.
Dr. Subhashini Srivathsa, Principal of University Evening College, Mangaluru presided over the function. She said that one must learn Hindi not just for job prospects, but for grabbing meaningful life.
Preetham of I BCA Welcomed the guests. Prayer was Invoked by Pavithra, Lecturer of Economics. Convenor Dr. Vaishali Salian of the Hindi department, composed the event. Ashwini of I BCom introduced the chief guest. Vote of thanks was rendered by Liyauddin - Lecturer of Hindi. Teaching and Non Teaching Faculty and Students were present during the programme.
