Mangaluru: A BJP activist misbehaved with the police and a journalist when a Congress candidate was responding to a media representative after voting in the city's Capitanio polling booth.
Congress candidate Padmaraj R Poojari came out after voting, the media was taking his statement outside the gate. Sandeep Ekkur then asked 'how long it would take to get a response'. Other policemen, including police inspector T.D. Nagaraj, who were the incharge of booth, pushed him and took him to some distance away. Though those who were with him tried to pacify him, he misbehaved with the police and had an argument. Then Police Inspector TD Nagaraj sent a warning.
After the police returned from there, he attacked the media reporters who were filming the scene of the incident. At this time, the team had an argument with the journalists. The situation calmed down after Police Inspector T.D. Nagaraj warned that a case would be registered against him and he would be arrested.
