Mangalore:  The programme organised by College of Fisheries, Mangalore and Yuvanika Foundation in collaboration with the UN Environment Program, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Nations Volunteers, Health Volunteers and French Volunteers India,

The program was organised under theme :  Our Land. Our Future We are Generation Restoration celebrated World Environment Day 2024 with great enthusiasm and commitment to environmental sustainability.

Dr. Anjaneyappa Dean of the College of Fisheries, Mangalore, Inaugurated the program by sapling plantation, During the programme Jeeth Milan Roche, Environmentalist , Raghuveer Souterpete, Program and operation Head of Yuvanika Foundation, Santhosh Engineer,Raksha, Hithesh, Aftab Khan Tannirbhavi , Fisheries college staff members, Sowmya , Mallesh and students were part of this great occasion and who each contributed Significantly to the day's proceedings with their insights and expertise to make impact .

The celebration concluded with a pledge by all attendees to commit to sustainable living practices and contribute to a greener, healthier planet. The event was a testament to the power of collective action in addressing environmental issues and underscored the importance of continued efforts in this direction
