Mangalore: Shakthi Residential School, Shastha Naik Vorkady of grade 7 participated at "The REGENERON ISEF INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FAIR 2024" at Los Angeles, California, USA from 10th May to 19th May 2024. He did an Innovative Revolutionizing Smart Copra Dryer science model under the Topic "Energy: Sustainable material and Design using advanced technological aproach".
He bagged a gold medal in "The CBSE NATIONAL SCIENCE FAIR 2022-2023" held at Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, Haryana.
He also attended the "50th Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pardarshini" held at Shiv Chatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune from 25th Dec to 31st Dec 2023 and bagged Inspirational Model.
Further he was selected for IRIS National Fair 2024 held at Dr BR Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi from 26th Jan to 31st Jan 2024 where his project was selected as an Innovative Model.
He was also selected to represent Team India. From INDIA a total of 20 participants, 10 IRIS Mentors and officials, 5 adult caretakers took part in ISEF 2024.
From 140 countries, more than 2500 students participated in the ISEF Regeneron International Science Fair which is considered as a Science Olympics.
He is the proud son of Srinath Naik Vorkady and Chandrika Srinath.
