Mangalore, Sept 19 - An eight-year-old female cheetah Chintu has been urgently treated and due to pregnancy her condition was serious. Through surgery the 2 cubs has taken out of the womb on Friday, September 18.

The leopard is recovering after surgery, and doctors and staff at the zoo are monitoring the leopard's health. Dr. Vishnu Dat, the zoo's medical officer and Dr. Yashsvi has performed the surgery.
Eight years ago, a five-day-old chick was raised by a mother and nurtured in the Pilikula Zoo, named Chintu. There are a total of 10 cheetahs in the Pilikula Biological Park, H.J., Bhandari Director of Pilikula Biological Park said.
