Mangalore: St. Lawrence Church invites the devotees for the grand celebration of the St. Lawrence Feast on Saturday, 10th August 2024, at St Lawrence Church and Shrine, Bondel. This special day will honor the courage, faith, and commitment of St Lawrence reflecting on his values of charity, humility, and ultimate sacrifice for his faith.
The day will commence with a Festal mass at 10.30 a.m. celebrated by Most Rev. Dr. Wilfred Gregory Moras Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Jhansi. Later at 6.00 p.m. Most Rev. Dr. Duming Dias Bishop of the Karwar Diocese will preside over the evening celebration.
On this feast of St Lawrence, we pray for the strength to follow his example, to care for the poor, hungry and oppressed, and to love them with all our hearts
This is occasion is an opportunity for all devotees to come together in faith and fellowship.
