Kirem, Apr 06: Holy Thursday is the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when he established the sacrament of Holy Communion prior to his arrest and crucifixion.
Holy Eucharist, was celebrated at Our Lady of Remedies Church Kirem. The service commenced at 6.00PM. The main celebrant was Parish PriestFr Oswald Monteiro, Fr Sunil D'souza Fr Mervin Vas SVD were concelerants.
As a symbolic gesture and tradition to commemorate the act of washing off the feet, Fr Oswald Monteiro washed the feet of the twelve parishioners.
