Mangalore: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning have become part and partial of human life. However, developing them to fill the need is a challenging task, opined Parson’s School of Design Developer (New York) Pratheek Irvathur.

Delivering a special lecture on “Application areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” as a part of International Webinar Series on “Emerging Trends in Intelligent Computing and Informatics” organized by Department of Computer Science of University College Mangaluru, here on Friday, he explained various dimension of AI and ML. In his inaugural speech Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya appreciated the healthy competition in using machines as an alternative in all sectors including commerce, health, education. Principal Dr. Uday Kumar MA welcomed the guests.
