Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has taken a significant step in fighting the corona virus, launched the country's first plasma bank on Thursday.

The Plasma Bank is set up in Delhi's Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (IL'BS) and start was given by Kejriwal in his video conference for Plasma Bank.

Plasma can be donated to those who have been diagnosed with corona virus that are over 18kg and 50kg in weight. Women who have given birth to a child and suffer from chronic diseases, such as diabetes, diabetes mellitus, lung problems, kidney problems and heart problems, cannot donate plasma. Eligible individuals have requested to come forward to donate plasma.
