This inspiring Indian American couple Dancy and Harold D’Souza have a strong motivation to help others. Despite surviving the struggles of slavery and not always having everything they need, they share what they DO have!

Front line to Freedom invited these resilient charismatic couple, Dancy and Harold D’Souza to enlighten community members on awareness of ‘Human Labor Trafficking’ at Canton, Ohio on Friday, April 21, 2023. This auspicious event was organized by the Stark County Human Trafficking Coalition.

Dancy shared the analog ‘Frog in a Well’, of how victims of human trafficking become trapped in the hands of the perpetrators, not knowing there is a bigger, better, and brighter world outside the ‘Well’.

Harold D’Souza spoke on the problems, solutions, and resources on labor trafficking.

“I was manipulated, tricked, and trapped by my trafficker. I came to the United States of America on four things; I came on a Trust, Faith, Promise, and to live my American Dream. My trafficker always told me, I could not move one inch beyondhis eye sight, but God moved me straight to The White House. Never under-estimate the power of a survivor, especially of the survivor kids”, addressed Harold D’Souza.

When we speak of change makers and unconventional heroes, we realize that most of their resolve stems from their own struggles. Their path to success is often lined with failures and limited means, and it is in such situations that grit, guts, and generosity comes to the fore.

Harold D’Souza’s passion is to start a ‘Male Shelter Home’ and expungement of felonies in cases of Labor Trafficking victims.

The phenomenal power-packed story of ‘The D’Souza Family’ from poverty to prosperity, hurt to happiness, fear to freedom, and slavery to success is a life-changer.  Today this amazing couple are the Co-Founders of a non-profit organization Eyes Open International focused to be the ‘Voice for the Voiceless Victims’.

Couple of courage. Dancy and Harold D’Souza sons Bradly and Rohan D’Souza have received numerous accolades in America. Bradly the older boy has happily completed 9 years at Tesla in April 2023. Rohan works for Tesla and is perusing his passion in ‘Tennis’ at Chicago.

Heart-breaking is their past, but breath-taking is their present. Dancy and Harold D’Souza are a native of Bajpe, Mangalore now residing in Cincinnati, Ohio igniting hope in the vulnerable population to live a life with freedom forever.
