Mangaluru, Aug 15: Father Muller Charitable Institutions celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor at its campus in Mangaluru. The national flag was ceremoniously hoisted by Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director Father Muller Charitable institutions, in the presence of staff, students, and dignitaries.
Fr Michael Santhumayor Administrator of Father Muller Medical College and other senior members of the management graced the occasion and joined in paying tribute to the nation.
In his address, Fr Faustine emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and responsibility among the youth, encouraging students to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress. The event featured patriotic songs and speeches that highlighted India’s journey toward independence and its future aspirations.
The program concluded with the patriotic song and the distribution of sweets.
