Mangalore:- Shakthi Pre-School, Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi PU College witnessed another milestone as the Shakthi research Forum and Shakthi Commerce Advanced Learning was inaugurated on Saturday 3rd April 2021 at 10.00am. “Research is all about student’s passion and curiosity, all research may not be useful but it will definitely satisfy your curiosity” said Dr. Manjunatha Pattabi, Dean Faculty of Science & Technology,Professor and Chairman, Department of Materials Science, Mangalore University inaugurating the Shakthi Research Forum and guiding our students into new avenues.

‘A man is not poor without money, he is poor without aim and dream of his own’ said Rtn. PHF. CA. Shantharam Shetty Chartered Accountant &Chairman Indian Red Cross Society, D.K Dist. Inaugurating Shakthi Advanced Commerce Learning. He added that career guidance as such is important at the College level or else there are chances of students to have a wrong choice of the profession.

Dr. Dilip. G. Naik the Pro Vice Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education presided over the function and opined that “Inspite of having 1000 universities in India our ranking at the global level is alarming, this is because there is no research happening. Critical thinking and experiential learning is not given importance. Students have certain qualities inbuilt in them they just need a little training and a push by us to the right path and the initiative like this is definitely going to help them”.

Dr.K.C.Naik, the Administrator of Shakthi Education Trust,Dr. Muralidhar Naik, Trustee, Chief Advisor Ramesh K, Institute Development Officer Prakyath Rai, Prof. Raja ram Rao, Lecturer in Mathematics and Neema Saxena coordinator of Shakthi Pre-school were present on this occasion.

 Dr. Darshan Raj coordinator for Shakthi research Forum and Shilpa, coordinator Shakthi Advanced Commerce Learning delivered the key note initially. Vidya Kamath, Principal Shakthi Residential School proposed the welcome address and Kuldeep Desai student of I PU conveyed vote of thanks.
