Mangalore: “If you want to learn to swim, jump into the water. Target the best so that you can always easily reach good and better. Great things never come from comfort zones.” said Ramesh K inaugurating the Swimming camp at the Sarosh Swimming Pool by lighting the lamp and by sprinkling the holy water from Kadri temple on Friday 1st April 2022.

 “Believe in yourself, not only in swimming, but in life itself. You have to have an open mind. Bring name and fame to you, your parents and school at large by extracting the maximum from this 21 days of training”, he concluded. 

Shakthi Pre-school, Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi PU College in association with the Mangala Swimming club has organised a 3 weeks swimming training camp for the kids above 3 and open to all category. The training will be given in 5-6 different batches at different timings. So far more than 100 registrations have happened and still enquiry about the same is happening.  Vidya Kamath G, Principal Shakthi Residential School speaking on this occasion said “The enthusiasm of the young kids is noteworthy and they need to reach the milestone with same passion. Utilise every moment and improve the skills and be beneficial to the society”.

The secretary of the Mangala Swimming Club Shivananda Gatty instructed the campers on the rules and practices expected of them and not to experiment in the pool. Swimming coach of the institution Rajesh Kharvi was present along with the coaches from Mangala Swimming Club-Nagaraj Kharvi, Keerthan & Nayana
