Puttur: In a commendable initiative aimed at promoting educational equity, Akanksha Charitable Trust (R), Puttur in collaboration with Vantiva India Private Limited, Bengaluru, successfully distributed essential school kits to students from government and aided rural schools across Dakshina Kannada and Kasaragod districts.
This impactful outreach, supported by the CSR funds of Vantiva, benefited over 4,600 students from 29 schools, with the kits being distributed before the start of the new academic year. Each school kit included a school bag, a geometry box, and ten notebooks, with a total of over 42,000 notebooks provided to support students' learning needs.
Out of the 29 schools, 26 were from Dakshina Kannada and 3 from Kasaragod district, all located in rural or underserved areas. This initiative not only strengthened the academic journey of these students but also played a key role in promoting educational equality and access in marginalized regions.
The initiative received enthusiastic appreciation from students, parents, and teachers alike. It highlighted the shared vision of the partnering organizations to ensure that every child, regardless of background, receives the tools they need to succeed in school.
“We firmly believe that every child deserves equal access to quality education. This partnership with Vantiva is a powerful step toward real, positive change in the lives of rural children,” said
Dr. Shreesha Baipadavu, Founder Trustee, Akanksha Charitable Trust, Puttur.
This program stands as a shining example of how thoughtful collaboration between social organizations and corporates can meaningfully empower communities and light the path to a brighter future through education.
