Mangaluru: “ New Education Policy is creating a lot of opportunities. The inclusions of NEP has already been implemented in this institution. Their involvement in the fifteen minutes prayer speaks about it. Student – Centric Gurukul System wherein a teacher remains as a facilitator witnessing the intelligence, strength and knowledge of a child will be deployed. It would give the children the opportunity to set their own goals and reach new heights said Sri B.C Nagesh, Minister for Primary & Higher Secondary Education, being a part of the Prayer session at Shakthi.
He also added that “Yuva Bharath has its future in the 50% youth population of the nation. Today when the whole world is looking towards India to find a solution for any issues between the countries, the youth needs to fill its strength to maintain the standard and the influence”.
Sri Prabhakar Bhat, President, Vivekananda Vidyavardaka Sangha, Sharing his opinion said “ Disregard for everything old is fashion of the day. Modernisation is essential but not westernisation. A blend of intelligent quotient, emotional quotient, cultural quotient and spiritual quotient is the need of the hour.”
