Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, 43 new cases were reported on Wednesday. A total of 6,31,362 samples have been tested so far, out of which 5,95,665 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district stands at 35,697, out of which 570 are currently active.
As many as 55 patients were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday, The total number of deaths due to coronavirus in the district stands at 742.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 4,20,024 samples have been tested so far. As many as 56 new cases were reported on Wednesday, 824 cases are currently active. A total of 141 patients were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday, Among the 56, as many as 37 are asymptomatic. While Udupi reported 39 cases, Kundapur recorded 8, Karkala six. A total of 192 deaths have taken till now.
