Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, a total of 5,29,778 samples have been tested so far, out of which 4,95,848 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district stands at 33,930, out of which only 303 are currently active. As many as 20 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday. The total number of deaths so far is 740.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 3,38,892 samples have been tested so far, out of which 3,15,535 have turned out to be negative. As many as 9 new cases were reported on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 23,357, out of which only 37 are currently active. 13 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday. The district has reported 189 deaths due to coronavirus so far.
