Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, the total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 98,323, out of which 2,010 are currently active. As many as 209 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 94,920. The district recorded one death due to coronavirus on Sunday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,393, out of which two are non-Covid deaths.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 7,62,355 samples have been tested so far. As many as 100 new cases were reported on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 68,877, out of which 751 are currently active. A total of 98 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 67,717.Coronavirus has claimed 409 lives in the district so far. No deaths were reported on Sunday.
