Mangalore:- As per the district health bulletin, a total of 8,79,612 samples have been tested so far, out of which 7,98,018 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 81,594, out of which 6,986 are currently active. As many as 637 patients were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday. The district recorded three deaths due to coronavirus on Wednesday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 961.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 6,22,686 samples have been tested so far. As many as 409 new cases were reported on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases to 63,292 out of which 3,766 are currently active. A total of 423 patients were discharged from hospitals on Friday. Coronavirus has claimed 351 lives in the district so far, including three on Wednesday.
