Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, a total of 6,86,687 samples have been tested so far, out of which 6,48,544 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district stands at 38,143, out of which 1,764 are currently active. As many as 131 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 35,635. The total number of deaths due to coronavirus in the district stands at 744.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 4,65,980 samples have been tested so far. As many as 152 new cases were reported on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 26,740, out of which 660 are currently active. A total of 75 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 25,887.Coronavirus has claimed 193 lives in the district so far.
