India has specialists in all types of superstitions. In predicting future we have everything, from palmists to astrologers, parrot readers to tarot readers, Nadi jotishars and a number of such methods. I as an individual, as well as in my capacity as the office bearer of many rationalist organisations, have been very much interested in testing the efficacy of such powers and have been offering repeated opportunities to those who have such powers. This time again, I would like to offer another such opportunity. So, I herein offer an amount of Rupees one million (Rupees ten lakhs only) as the prize for the entry which arrives at all the correct answers, as per the specifications listed below.
For previous election result-prediction challenges various excuses have been furnished for the wrong predictions given and I have been asked to provide more information about candidates contesting for LS seats, for the contestants participating in my contests, in predicting the fate of the aspiring MPs! Now, all the details are available on the website of the election commission and hence, whatever inputs needed can be taken from there.
Though astrology has been boasted as an "exact science", we certainly would like to allow some margin for error. Since in every one of the dozen or so challenges we have put forward, the so-called "science" has flopped miserably, the margin of error now allowed is 10%. However, this applies to only the total number of right answers. This means that the prize will be awarded only to those individual who gets 18 out of the 20 answers right. If more than one entry received is found complying to the rules of this competition, the prize money will be divided equally among all those successful candidates. For determination of the range of accuracy within which the answer shall be held to be correct, the margin of error allowed will be indicated in the question itself.
The total number of questions answered will be deemed to be twenty, however many that may be attempted. It is necessary for all the questions to be answered only once. The one as the first choice for an answer for each of the questions posted on the competition will be taken as the answer for that particular question, and any other choices/options/answers to the same question below that shall not be considered for evaluation.
One person can submit only a single entry at any time between the announcement of the challenge and the last date for acceptance of entries. Candidates submitting more than one entry shall automatically be debarred from the competition. Only entries sent by post/courier/hand delivery and clearly typed on one side of the paper shall be accepted. They must indicate the name, the full address, the method used for prediction, and should be in English only. Even guessing is allowed, since most of the alleged "sciences" have been extensively tested and found to do the same!
The Questions:
1. The party which will come to power with a simple majority? The answer has to be specific and if the named single party does not get majority on its own, the answer will be considered incorrect. The number of seats that will be won by (a +/-5% error-margin allowable) the said party with simple majority?
2. The number of seats predicted should be in numbers ranges are not acceptable.
For example one cannot say X party will win between abc and ghi seats. The answer should one number only.

ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ, ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಭವಿಷ್ಯ, ಹಸ್ತಸಾಮುದ್ರಿಕ ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳೆಂದು ಕರೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ನಿಖರತೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಾಮರ್ಶಿಸಲು ನಾವು ವಿಚಾರವಾದಿಗಳು ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ನಾನು ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಹಲವು ಕಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದೇಶಗಲಿಂದಲೂ ನೂರಾರು ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಿಕರಿಸಿದೆವು.. ವಿಷಾದದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಎಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ ೨೦ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸರಿ ಉತ್ತರಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ೮ನ್ನು ಮೀರದಿರುವುದು.
ಅಂದರೆ ಶೇ. ೫೦ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ! ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಈ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಪುನರಾವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.ಅತೀಂದ್ರಿಯ ಸಾಧನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ೨೦೧೯ರ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಕುರಿತ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಸವಾಲು!. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬಗೆಯ ಮೌಢ್ಯಗಳ ಪರಿಣತರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವವರಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಸ್ತಸಾಮುದ್ರಿಕರು, ಗಿಣಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಿಂದ ಅರಂಭಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುವವರು, ನಾಡಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷಿಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.ನಾನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಹಲವು ವಿಚಾರವಾದಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಲಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯನಾಗಿ ಈ ಬಗೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ, ಅಂಥ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ತಮಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.ಈ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತೆ, ಅಂಥ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲು ಬಯಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಒಂದು ಮಿಲಿಯನ್, ದಶ ಲಕ್ಷ, ಅಥವಾ ಹತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಯುತ್ತರವಿರುವ ಲಕೋಟೆಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದರ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
ಹಿಂದಿನ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ತಪ್ಪು ಉತ್ತರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಲವು ಸಮರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿರುವ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಳಲಾಯಿತು.ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳೂ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಬೇಕಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು.
ಜ್ಯೊತಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕರಾರುವಾಕ್ಕಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂದು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೋಷಗಳ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.ನಾವು ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು (ಡಜನ್) ಸವಾಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಥಾಕಥಿತ 'ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವು' ಶೋಚನೀಯವಾಗಿ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ದೋಷದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಶೇ. ೧೦ಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.ಅದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಇದು ಸರಿ ಉತ್ತರಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅಂದರೆ, ಇದು ೨೦ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ೧೮ ಸರಿ ಉತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಮಾನದ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ ಹಂಚಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಸರಿ ಉತ್ತರದ ನಿಖರತೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವ ಒಪ್ಪಿತವದೋಷದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೇ ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ೨೦ ಎಂದೇ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ.
ಪ್ರತಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ನೀಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉತ್ತರವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅನಂತರ ನೀಡುವ ಉತ್ತರ, ಅಯ್ಕೆ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಹಾಳೆಯ ಒಂದೇ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಬೆರಳಚ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿ, ಅಂಚೆ,ಕುರಿಯರ್, ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಬಮದು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಉತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸ್ವಿಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರು, ವಿಳಾಸ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ನುಡಿಯಲು ಬಳಸಿದ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು.
ಹೆಗೂ ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ; ಬಹುಪಾಲು ತಥಾಕಥಿತ 'ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳು' ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಅದನ್ನೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು:
೧. ಸರಳ ಬಹುಮತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಪಕ್ಷ ಯಾವುದು?
ಉತ್ತರವು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರಲೇಬೇಕು. ಬಿಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷವೊಂದು ಸ್ವಂತ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಹುಮತ ಪಡೆಯದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪು ಎಮದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಸರಳ ಬಹುಮತವಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ (ಶೇ.೫ರಷ್ಟು ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ +/- ದೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ.
೨.ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ.
