Bengaluru, Nov 20: A robbery of Rs 7.11 crore took place in broad daylight in Silicon City, Bengaluru. On the afternoon of November 19, a gang in an Innova car stopped a vehicle that was going to deposit money into an ATM, robbed it of Rs 7.11 crore and fled. The vehicle carrying money, which was going to an ATM near South End Circle, was stopped near Jayadeva Dairy Circle and robbed the money and escaped.

The vehicle bearing number GJ 01 HT 9173 was going to deposit money into an ATM near South End Circle. At this time, a gang of six or seven people who came in an Innova at Jayadeva Dairy Circle stopped the ATM vehicle and threatened it by saying that they were from RBI. They dropped everyone including the gunman there and took the driver along with the vehicle to Dairy Circle. Then they parked it on the Dairy Circle flyover, loaded the money in the vehicle into an Innova car and fled. Currently, the Suddaguntepalya police have visited the spot and inspected the spot.


Hijacking of a vehicle claiming to be RBI officials

They have blocked the vehicle near Ashok Pillar under Jayanagar police station limits. Later, the robbers claimed that they were from RBI. They also said that they had violated the rules. They hijacked the CMS vehicle with the money and brought it. Then they parked the vehicle at the Dairy Circle flyover under the Suddaguntepalya police station limits and loaded the money into their Innova car and fled.

There were a total of four CMS staff in the ATM vehicle. There was a driver, two gunmen and another cash depositor. They are currently being questioned at the Siddapur police station. The fingerprint team and dog squad are also arriving at the scene, and the investigation has been intensified.


Crime with fake number plates

It has come to light that the robbers had put a fake number plate on the Innova car they had brought. Yes..they came in an Innova car with the number KA 03 NC 8052 and committed the crime. However, it has been revealed that the original car with the number KA 03 NC 8052 is a Maruti Suzuki. From this, it is apparent that this gang has committed this crime with a well-planned plan.


Information about moving towards Hosakot

Information has been received that the gang has moved towards Hosakot after robbing the money. Information has been received that the robbers have moved towards Hoskote via Dairy Circle, Koramangala, Sony World Junction, Dommaluru, Marathahalli, Whitefield, and the police have caught the gang of robbers.
