Bidar: Sagar Khandre, a Congress candidate won from Bidar Constituency and defeated Union Minister Bhagwant Khooba with the margin of 128875 votes and entered the Parliament, is the youngest MP in the country.
Sagar Khandre had received 666317 votes where as Bhagwant Khooba recieved 537442 votes.
Sagar, who is the son of Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre, he is a 26-year-old and a BBA-LLB graduate.
He won Bidar constituency by a margin of more votes than last time against Khuba, who had defeated his father in the 2019 elections. As a frontline leader in the state youth congress unit, Sagar works as the secretary of Bhalki's Shantivardhak Education Institute, He has joined hands in his father's political field. Sagar's grandfather Shatayushi Dr. Bhimanna Khandre is also a former minister.
