Bahrain: The 75th Republic Day of India was celebrated at The Indian Club on Friday morning with the traditional ‘Flag-Hoisting’ Ceremony at 6:30am.
The Indian flag was unfurled by the Club’s President Cassius Pereira. With the Indian flag flying high, The Members of The Indian Club Executive Committee, led by The President Cassius Pereira, the General Secretary Anil Kumar R., the Vice President Joseph Joy, The Asst. General Secretary Gopakumar, The Asst. Treasurer Bijoy Kambrath, The Entertainment Secretary S. Nandakumar, the Asst. Entertainment Secretary Raison Varghese, the Badminton Secretary Arunachalam T. & the Cricket Secretary Ajay Kumar V.N. joined the gathered Members and proudly sang the Indian National Anthem.
The President Cassius Pereira rendered the Republic Day speech on behalf of The Indian Club Executive Committee and wished the Members a very Happy Republic Day. Children from MSK Skating did a 15mins skating performance as part of the Republic Day celebration. Following completion of the celebration, everyone was able to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
