Texas, Nov 11: A 23-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh has died mysteriously in the US, making headlines.
A 23-year-old Indian student was found dead in her apartment in Texas, US, leaving her family and friends in shock. The student, identified as Rajyalakshmi (Raji) Yarlagadda, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, had recently graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and was reportedly looking for a job in the US.
Rajyalakshmi Yarlagadda passed away on November 7. According to her cousin Chaitanya YVK, Rajyalakshmi had been suffering from severe cough and chest pain for the past two to three days.
"Tragically, on the morning of November 7, 2025, when the alarm went off, she did not wake up, which caused panic among her family and friends," the cousin said. Her friends later discovered that he had passed away in her sleep.
Officials said that the deceased Rajyalakshmi has been shifted to a hospital and will undergo a post-mortem examination. The examination is said to be underway in the US to determine the exact cause of death.
