Bengaluru, Aug 06: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in his press meet held Today announced a weekend curfew and night curfew from Today.

The weekend curfew will be imposed on districts boarding Maharashtra and Kerala that are Belagavi, Bidar, Vijayanagara, Kalburgi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Mysuru and Chamrajnagara from Friday 9pm to Monday 5am.

The night curfew will be from 9pm to 5pm in the state.

As soon the announcement the guidelines for weekend curfew has been issued. 

What is there and what not in this weekend curfew?

All the government offices will be in full function. Companies, industries and organizations dealing with emergency will be allowed to operate 24/7. Movement of employees of such offices will be allowed for movement by providing the ID card.

Employees of IT companies shall be allowed to move on producing their ID proof.

The essential services, meat shops, liquor shops, ration shops, street vendors and allowed to operate from 5am to 2pm. Restaurants are open only for take away and home deliveries.

Movement of public transport, private vehicles, cabs, taxis, autorickshaw's are allowed to operate.

Marriage functions or family gatherings are permitted to be conducted with not more than 100 people with adhering to all covid guidelines. For cremation and funerals permitted members are maximum of 20people.

The religious places are allowed to open but Jathre, Temple festivals, procession, congregation are prohibited.

All social, political, Cultural, religious gatherings and functions are not allowed.
