Mangaluru: The Annual Sports Meet of Saint Raymond’s English Medium School, Vamanjoor, was held on October 25, 2025, under the presidentship of the School Correspondent, Rev. Sr. Cecilia Mendonca.
The event was inaugurated by Ravindra, Police Sub-Inspector, Vamanjoor Police Station, who extended his best wishes to the students. Elias Fernandes, Proprietor of Four Winds Communications, lit the sports torch, marking the formal commencement of the meet.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Rev. Sr. Lavita Moras BS, Superior of the local convent; Iqbal Hassan, Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Association; Nagarathna from the local police department; Rev. Sr. Vidya BS, Rev. Sr. Paulette BS, and Rev. Sr. Sadhana BS from the Saint Raymond’s Group of Institutions; and the School Headmistress, Rev. Sr. Manisha Rodrigues.
In her presidential address, Rev. Sr. Cecilia Mendonca congratulated the students and encouraged them to participate with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Rev. Sr. Manisha Rodrigues delivered the welcome address, teacher Stenita proposed the vote of thanks, and the programme was compered by Rev. Sr. Sushma Monteiro.
