Udupi, May 07: A junior artist on the set of Rishabh Shetty's Kantara-2 drowned in the river in Kollur on Tuesday.
The young man, MF Kapil, a junior artist from Kerala, drowned in the water. He had jumped into the river to swim after having lunch.
Kapil, who got caught in the whirlpool of the river, was swept away in the water. The locals and the police, with the help of the fire brigade, found the body in the evening.
A case has been registered in this regard at the Kollur police station.
