Bangkok: At least five people died and one was injured when a Thai police light plane crashed into the sea near Hua Hin airport in Thailand on Friday, media reported.

A light plane used for parachute training crashed into the sea near the resort town of Cha-am in Phetchaburi province on Friday morning, killing five people on board and injuring one, according to preliminary reports.
