Moodbidri: Jinesh Prasad, Internationally reknowned Photographer from Moodbidri has been selected for the "Gold of Golden Medal" award held under the joint auspices of the Asian Photographic Union and Golden Peacock Award Singapore in Singapore.
Before being selected for this award, he has to qualify as an annual top ten photographer and exhibitor in the world. Jinesh Prasad has been selected as one of the Top Ten Photo Exhibitors for three consecutive years.
The selection process is based on having the highest number of consecutive award-winning photographs exhibited in 12 competitions during the year.
Jinesh Prasad has achieved all these qualifications for three consecutive years and this time i.e. 2023, he has succeeded in winning the Gold of Golden Medal Award.
His photographs have been exhibited in many countries like Cyprus, Singapore, Russia, Ukraine, Bosnia, Greece, Malaysia, Romania etc. He has also been selected as the top 5 best photographer by the Indian Photographic Federation (FIP) of India for two consecutive years.
In 2023, he was the winner of the Chitranjali Award and one lakh rupees organised by Central Government Human Resource Department.
He is a member of Bangalore Youth Photographic Society and is actively involved in many photography organizations of India and abroad.
He has a huge collection of very rare photographs which he has taken in most parts of the country for the past 30 years.
He started his career from Nellikar, a rural area of South Kannada district and has given his unique contribution to the field of photography.
