Mangaluru: Poetica's 25th Poetry Conference was held at MCC Bank Auditorium.
Richard Moras inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp, while senior writer Dolphy Cascia gave an introductory speech.
48 poets presented their poems.
Alvin Danti Pernal, Dr. Dimple Castellino Kulasekhar, C.V. Loretto, Rupesh Desai Goa, Maruti Dasannavar Belgaum, Flavia Castellino Manipal conducted the reciting session in five categories.
In the program, M.C.C. Bank Chairman Anil Fermai, Walter Nandalik of Daijiworld, Eric Ozario and Fr. Rupesh Madta was present.
Honored in recognition of achievement and service to disabled poet Stephen Vas Kelrai.
Senior writers, editors, singers and well-wishers were present.
Lavi Ganjimatt and Salomi Miyapadav, Mogarnad were honored for their untiring support, service and kepping 'Poetica' always active. Along with it all the sponsores of 'Poetica' were honored. All the poets were given a memento.
Alvin Pinto Derebail, Hilary Tellis Karkala and Naveen Pereira Suratkal entertained the audience.
Ronald D'Souza and Simone D'Souza presented the songs.
Eddie Kaddos Taccode (Konkani) and Mansoor Mulki (Kannada) won the best poetry award sponsored by Christopher Roshan Lobo, Chris Ben Music.
