Mangalore : One of city’s leading healthcare providers, Indiana Hospital and Heart Institute will observe the World Heart Day which falls on September 29, 2019.
As a part of the World Heart day celebrations, Indiana Hospital, the first one in Mangalore to have been empanelled under National Accreditation Board for Hospitals, will offer free cardiac health check-up for patients from September 26th to 30th Sept.. The free check-up facility will be offered at OPD timings from 10:00am to 03:00pm.
Indiana Hospital’s Chief Interventional Cardiologist and managing director, Dr. Yusuf A. Kumble, said in a statement, “40% of the world’s 2.7 crore patients with heart failure lives in India. Poor awareness about the heart’s condition and its delayed treatment has taken a toll on the population. World Heart Day is a campaign established to spread awareness about the health of heart among common people. Indiana Hospital Mangaluru is bound to extend all its support to such a campaign. As a run up to the World Heart Day, Indiana Hospital is organizing a free heart check-up for as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility.
