Mangalore: The Ranga Adhyayana Kendra of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is an active wing of the institution constantly engaged in theatre related activities for students and the audience throughout the year. The festivals organised by this wing every year has succeeded in providing a platform to budding and established theatre artists and troupes. More importantly, an audience who can appreciate and critically evaluate art has been created over the years. 

Adding to this journey is an upcoming theatre festival that is set to treat the audience in and around the city. 

St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, in collaboration with Astitva (R), Mangaluru, Arehole Prathishtana, JCI, Mangalore Lalbhag is organizing a ‘National Multilingual Theatre Festival-2024’from 14-09-2024 to 17-09-2024 at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University). A total of 5 plays of 3 different languages will be staged from teams from 3 different states during the festival.

The festival will be inaugurated by Melvyn Rodriguez– Convenor, Konkani Sahitya Akademi and Founder of Kavita Trust. The event will be honored by the esteemed presence of Sr. Gurudutt Bantwalkar, CEO of Proto Upskill.  

Eminent personalities in the field of art and theatre will be present during the festival. 

Students and enthusiasts of art and theatre, are invited to join and experience the symphony of rasas at this festival.
