Mangalore, July 21: Milagres College, Mangalore in association with Mangalore University Commerce Teachers Association is organized a national level symposium ‘Samanvay – 2022’ on the topic ‘Investor Awareness Porgramme’ on July 21, 2022 at Milagres College Auditorium.
Dr Donald Lobo, Associate Professor, St Aloysius Evening College inaugurated the symposium. In his message he emphasized the need of investment at an early age in equity shares and stock exchange which would return a very good benefit rather than savings and insurance.
Prof. Manoj Louis, Assistant Professor, Govt College, Kavoor and General Secretary, MUCTA in his keynote address said, Investment is not done forcefully it should be done by one’s own will because an individual is investing not only his money but also time.
Guest of Honour Leo Amal, Senior Branch Manager, Franklin Templeton Asset Management India Pvt. Ltd. said that knowledge of investment at the right age is necessary to get good returns.
Rev Fr Michael Santhumayor, Principal presided over the function. Cassin Rodrigues, Vice Principal, Shabeeb Student Coordinator, Florida Student President were on the dais. Student Jostan DSouza compeered the programme. Glanciya Fernandes, HOD of Commerce proposed the vote of thanks.
Naveen Rego, SEBI Registered Investment Advisor and Sapna Shenoy, Personal Investment specialist deliberated the technical sessions.
Around 200 Students of different colleges participated in the workshop.
