Mangalore: Konkani Natak Sabha holds Dance competition

Mangalore: The 19^th Inter Parish Dance competition was organized for the parishioners of Mangalore Diocese by the Konkani Natak Sabha® Mangalore in the Don Bosco Hall.

The competition was inaugurated by Fr Paul Melwin D’Souza, President of Konkani Natak Sabha by lighting the lamp along with Vice President Sunil Menezes, General Secretary Judi D’Souza, Asst Secretary Floyd D’Mello and Raymond D’Cunha.

The Competition was held in three categories i.e. below 10 years, 10 to 15 years and above 15 years in Ladies duet, Gents duet, mixed group and married couple.

152 participants in 8 categories from 12 Parishes took part in the competition.

In the below-15 year’s category, Cordel parish bagged the first place while Permannur parish stood second and Angelore third place.

In the above-15 year’s category, Cordel parish bagged the first place while Permannur parish stood second and Cascia third place.
