Mangalore : Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Angelore unit organised the senior citizens Day for all the parishioners of Angelore in the Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall. The celebration began with

the Holy Mass at 11:00 a.m.More than 150 senior citizens of the Parish participated in the program. Rev Fr William Menezes, the Parish priest gave the message that seniors in the family is a blessing and they are to be honoured,respected and taken care of by the younger members of the family.

Judith Carlo the retired lecturer of St Aloysius College addressed the gathering. In the message, she gave a few hints for the seniors to follow as to how to spend remaining days of their lives usefully and

happily. Age is only a number. She said all that we could not do when we were young or while in service can be achieved after retirement.

She asked the senior citizens to engage themselves in hobbies like gardening travelling etc. and to keep themselves happy and have positive thinking.Albert Lasrado, the president of Catholic Sabha welcomed the gathering Judith D'Souza conducted the program and Roshan Patrao proposed the vote of thanks. Few games were conducted for the seniors and prizes were distributed which made them feel young.
