Kadaba: The much-anticipated election of the Kadaba Town Panchayat in Sullia taluk has been successfully completed, with the Congress party emerging victorious. Out of 13 seats, the Congress won 8, thereby gaining control of the administration.
In the election led by KPCC Working President and MLC Manjunath Bhandari, Dakshina Kannada District In-Charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, and Dakshina Kannada District Congress President Harish Kumar, Congress candidates secured a majority of the votes.
Former Zilla Panchayat President and KPCC General Secretary M.S. Mohammad, Dakshina Kannada District RGPRS President Subhashchandra Shetty, Kadaba Block President Abhilash, along with district MLAs, Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates, senior leaders, observers appointed by the Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee, block presidents, candidates, block core committee members, and former block presidents — all worked tirelessly day and night for the success of the Congress candidates.
