Mangalore: University Evening College, Mangalore under the auspices of Commerce Association has organized a special lecture on ‘Honing English Skills’ on 6th March 2021 at Shivaram Karanth bhavana.
Nanda Kishore S. - Assistant Professor of Government First Grade College, Bantwala was the resource person. In his talk he said, One should be skilled in English through which he or she could be confident in their career. Honing English Skills will help one to grow vibrantly in communicating globally.
Prof. Shyam Bhat N – Coordinator, department of PG studies in English said, when an opportunity knocks at you, you should go for it. Learning English language skills will help to overcome the inferiority complex.
Dr Subhashini Srivatsa – Principal, University Evening College suggested, when you meet any person for the first time, conversing in English will lead to a habit.
Dr. Jagadeesh coordinator of MBA & MCom programmes, teaching and non teaching staff and students were present in the programme. Akshatha welcomed the gathering, master of ceremony was done by Yashwanth Rasquinha, Ranjit and group lead the prayer and vote of thanks was given by Ameer P. F.
