Dr.K V Rajendra takes charge as deputy commissioner of DK

Mangalore (July 30):- Dr K.V. Rajendra has taken over the charge as deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada.

Sindhu B Roopesh who has now transferred to Bangalore as Director of electronic delivery of citizen services handed over the official charge to Dr. K.V. Rajendra in the presence of assistant   Deputy Commissioner   MJ Roopa and other department officials

Dr .K.V. Rajendra is the 130^th District collector of Dakshina Kannada prior to DC post he was serving as Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer at Belagavi   .DR Rajendra from profession   is  a doctor . Graduated from Bapuji Medical College, Davangere.

After welcoming outgoing DC Sindhu Roopesh and all the other officials present there.

In his speech he said that "He will be calling a meeting where he would  collect information and try to understand the present situation of the district. As before he worked in Belagavi he  knows that the both Belagavi and DK districts are borders. So there's a chance of more coronavirus cases. This is a challenge to all the official and administrator".
