Mangalore: Dr. Kedige Aravinda Rao from Mangalore Elected as the 20th National President of Indian Senior Chamber at the recently held 20th National Concourse Rajasooyam at Shornur, Kerala.
Being started in 1998 by the likeminded and enthusiastic senior Jaycee friends at Calicut, Kerala gives platform to the socially committed past and senior JCI Members above the age of 40 and over the years has spread in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Orissa & UAE having nearly 110 active Legions [Units].
Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao joined the Senior Chamber movement as the Charter President of ISC Mangalore Legion in 2015-16. Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao is instrumental in starting more than 21 legions across Karnataka State with the support of his senior JCI friends. Having actively involved in Indian Senior Chamber National Governing Board since 2016-17 Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao has proved his leadership qualities serving in various posts till date. By his friendly nature he could win the hearts of all including the other contesting candidates…and come out victoriously as the Unanimously Elected 20th National President, the first outside Kerala State and the Very first from the state of Karnataka.
As a former President of JCI Mangalore in 1993, Zone President of the prestigious Zone 15 of JCI, India in 1996, President of Lions Club Mangalore during 2012-13, Cabinet Secretary of Lions Dist. 317D during 2011-12 and also as member of various Social Organisations Dr Kedige Aravind Rao has been in the front of Social Service since many years. Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao is the Managing Director of Famous NOVA Meditech Diagnostic & Research Centre Mangalore, Chief Executive Director of Kamal Jeeth Group and also a senior Consulting Biochemist. Wife Smt. Gayathri A Rao the First Lady of Indian Senior Chamber is also a socially active women entrepreneur through JCI and Lions. She is the incoming President of Lions Club M’lore Netravathi for 2021-22.
With his Slogan ‘WE for Victory’, ‘Save our Planet’ the Environmental Conservation Theme and Installation of maximum Safe Drinking Water Units at various Bus stands and Auto rickshaw Stands as the National Service Project Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao has the dream and plans to expand Senior Chamber Movement in all the states of India and Asia Pacific Countries during his tenures as the National President. As he is all set to adorn the office of National President on 1st April 2021 Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao seeks the support and active participation of everyone for the successful and eventful year 2021-22.
