Campus placement and training program inaugurated at Mangalore University

Mangalore: Optum, a subsidiary of United Health Group conducted a campus recruitment drive at Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri on Thursday. 

Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya inaugurated the program. Clement Sequeira and Dr. Gururaj Kshatri of Optum briefed about Medical Coding. Prof. D.P. Angadi, Head of Training and Placement Cell welcomed. J. S. Hemachandra, Deputy Chief, University Employment Information Guidance Bureau delivered the vote of thanks. Prof. Manjunath Pattabhi and Prof. Monika Sadananda of IQAC were present. 

129 passed out students participated, of which 43 were from other institutions from Karnataka and Kerala. Shortlisted students will undergo a 5-week training program.
