Allipade, Bantwal: St Antony English Medium School, Allipade organised "My First Pen" event for the students of class 4, who are going to write with a pen for the first time in their schooling held on 18th July 2025 with zeal and dedication.
The programme began with a prayer, setting a solemn and inspiring tone. Student Sadhika Acharya explained the significance of the day, stating: “The pen is a symbol of education, knowledge, and creativity, making this day a motivation for writing and creative thinking.”
The highlight of the programme was a skit on the importance of the colourful pens - blue, red, and green pens. Through creative dialogues, the skit showcased their different uses in academic life and their importance in maintaining discipline and clarity in writing.
Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza, the school Correspondent addressed the gathering, sharing an inspiring message: “Use the pen to write the right things neatly and beautifully.” He reminded students to value this new responsibility and write with honesty, responsibility and with a purpose.
The class 4 students were distributed pens symbolizing their transition from pencils to pens—a proud and significant moment in their academic journey.
The event was compered by Swarali under the guidance of the class teacher Joyce Dsouza. The celebration concluded on a joyful note, filling the students with pride and motivation as they embraced this new phase in their learning journey.
